Legend tells that the very first mermaid of existence was the sea goddess Atargatis of Syria. A beautiful woman from the waist up, yet a fish from the waist down. She would bare children, whom all inherited the sea's qualities. Just as the sea could be gentle and nurturing, it could also be violent and deadly. Thus mermaids have been known by such contradictory qualities and can be said to be nature itself.






Welcome all to the Order of Sirenia- a club just for mermaid lovers, mythology addicts or fish enthusiasts! Or any other catchy phrases we can think up. This club is a fully active, original Roleplaying-styled genre that takes ideals from mythology and legends of mermaids from all around the world. Regular roleplaying will take place in the chatroom while bi-monthly events involving writing, drawing and poetry will be held. In-chat drawing contests maybe randomly pop up for fun.

Have a question on need help with character design? Forward it to a mod in the chatroom or note the club! We are more than willing to resolve any issues you may come across!

I think you have one of the characters names wrong in the gallery title for the ref sheet, 'Telisa' should be 'Telise.'

Also, I'll be applying as soon as may character is inked and colors 8D
